I got a new Asus Tuf Dush F15 that come with I7 12650h and 3070. In my experience, I can say that Intel i7 12650h is a great processor. It has cheaper price tag compare to i7 12700h. But as a cut down from 12700h, it only got 4E cores instead of 8E cores that 12700h has. But in term of performance in game, it is on pair with i7 12700h that they both have 6P cores although 12700h got a bit higher clock speed. All in all, I do recommend getting it if you want a cheaper but on pair performance in game with 12700h.

Looking at the laptop configurations available today at the approx 1000usd price point, this processor is a really good option. Typical higher tiers will have the same gfx card (4060 in my case) but shove a 13700h in there - but they charge 20+% more for the privilege. Considering the difference in performance between these two processors is around 9%, its rather profligate to go with the higher option if you are being sensible.
