Exquisite Audio Quality

As I mentioned, it has an audio quality that many headphones in this price range would, no, should envy. But there's a big problem from my perspective, the noise cancellation leaves a lot to be desired, too much in my opinion. Even if the audio is of high quality, if I still hear background noise after having them at half volume... it's not of much use. Also, the headband, after about 4hrs of continuous use starts to become bothersome (which wasn't the case with the HS70), hence, I have to keep adjusting it, affecting comfort. The microphone is pretty good but the software doesn't help, they focused on software for 3D audio but overlooked many other factors like a good equalizer (or rather having an equalizer for the audio) besides the noticeable lack of an equalizer for the microphone where I can adjust the gain, suppression and audio reverb (which allows me to hear myself). Aside from these complaints, if you're going to use it for multimedia content or AAA games, highly recommended.

Pros

  • Good audio

Cons

  • Mediocre software
  • Uncomfortable headband

This was the best headset I've ever used, until it broke. Of all the headsets I've ever used in my life, these are the only ones to have randomly broke. I treat all of my headphones very well. Give them one year and one of the ears will snap off while you pick it up. If you look at the Amazon reviews you will see this is a common problem.
