Bluetooth is a wireless technology standard that allows data transfers between devices placed in close proximity, using short-wavelength, ultra-high frequency radio waves. Newer versions provide faster data transfers.
LDAC is a codec developed by Sony for Bluetooth audio. It is capable of a very high bitrate of 990kbps, which provides high resolution audio. It can also automatically adjust to a lower bitrate of 330kbps or 660kbps to increase stability.
aptx Adaptive is an audio codec for Bluetooth devices that is developed by Qualcomm. It has a variable bit rate (between 279kbps and 420kbps), which means it can adjust the bit rate for different scenarios, such as listening to HD audio or reducing interference from other devices.
aptX Low Latency is a codec developed by Qualcomm. It uses Bluetooth 5.0 technology to provide low latency audio (around 40ms), which is useful when you want to avoid audio lag (e.g. when playing games).
aptX HD is an audio codec for Bluetooth devices that is developed by Qualcomm. It supports high quality 24-bit audio (at a bit rate of 576kbps).
aptX is a codec used for transmitting audio wirelessly with Bluetooth. It is developed by Qualcomm, and supports 16-bit audio at a bit rate of 384kbps.
aptX Lossless is an audio codec for Bluetooth devices that is developed by Qualcomm. It supports high quality 16-bit/44.1kHz audio (at a maximum bit rate of 1200kbps). This codec provides CD-quality audio without any loss of data.
Latency refers to the time it takes for the audio signal to be transmitted to your headphones/earbuds. Lower latency reduces audio lag, and is particularly important when playing games or watching videos.

A magnificent choice; they are comfortable and with a very good sound quality. The noise canceling is more than decent, and both podcast and music sound are quite good in my opinion. The battery life is excellent, lasting for 8-9 hours without needing to be recharged in the base, which lasts an incredibly long time. The base is somewhat large, but it's understandable considering the autonomy it offers. The earbuds fit in easily. The ergonomic design of the earbuds feels good when worn, and they come with three sets of ear pads in different sizes, allowing you to find the best fit for your ears. As for the weight, although they are somewhat large, personally I don't find them heavy, and I can run with them without any issues. If you're an audio connoisseur, you're more likely to find models worth an additional $150 with better sound quality. But the truth is that at this price (just 29€, although I paid 21€ due to an Amazon promotion), you won't find anything better. They have nothing to envy about other earbuds costing 80-100€ that I've tried. As for durability, we'll see. It's just less than a month since I bought them, and so far, I'm enchanted.

Value for money, sound quality hack discovered.

Incredible value for money. For the price, there is no reason to complain. If I could make changes, I would say that it sits a bit strange, but maybe it is just my ears. I tried other cups from another brand and the improvement was good, but then they dont fit in the docking station. For some reason there is a huge improvement in sound quality if I activate the active noise canceling, and I select the commuting option. The improvement has nothing to do with ambient sound because the difference is clear even in dead silence. If I select this option, the sound becomes vibrant and the bass sounds amost as if it comes from a large proffesional sound system. If I select ambient or normal mode, the sound quality is just average. Whatever the reason, most people will never know this. I would say that the app has a few features that is easy to miss, so have a deep look at the app because there are many usefull settings. The default gestures are not good, but you can change it. I am disapointed that tripple tap only has two options to choose from. The transparent mode is too soft, I want more sound to come through. Due to the hidden sound quality improvement hack that I mentioned earlier, I would never use the transparency mode.
